Welcome to my blog
My name is Raneisha Stassin and I’m a young mom and professional. I’m a Harding University Alumna and PR Girl transplant living in San Diego. I come from an interesting and not so nice background but it’s made me who I am and It’s part of the reason I enjoy hearing other’s stories. I believe our stories are what make us unique and hearing other’s stories can provide us with a variety of perspectives that can help us grow as people.
As previously mentioned, I am a mommy, I have a five-year-old son. I married young and started my own family. It’s not for everyone, but it’s the best decision I could have made for myself at the time. Growing up in a broken home I’d always wondered what it felt like to have a loving, supportive family, and as a young adult, I made the decision to create my own. Though I’m single now, I’ve learned more about myself and what I’m capable of than I’d ever known.
I wanted to create this blog to share my stories with others. So whether it be family travel tips, advice on overcoming adversity, advice for students and interns, or just lists of my favorite things, I hope to share a part of who I am with the world.
I love to write, but blogging is so much more than that. I’ve learned that blogging is a community. I’ve had the opportunity to connect with other bloggers all over the world (oh the joys of technology) and I recognize that it takes a lot of work to successfully put yourself out there. I’m continuing to learn about it and grow but for now, I just enjoy being able to share my experiences with the world and am grateful that blogging provides me with a platform to do that.
I hope that you will enjoy learning about me and I hope my experiences can help or even inspire others.
